view of upper lode weir on the River Severn, Tewkesbury

One sunny day in early May, we welcomed Fergus Collins, Editor of BBC Country File magazine and creator of their ‘Plodcast’ to join us first at the Upper Lode weir on the Severn Ham at Tewkesbury and then at Diglis to visit the lock island and fish pass viewing gallery.

It was great to talk all things shad and fish passes with him.  And if you haven’t listened to the Countryfile Plodcast before it’s a lovely, relaxed audio escape into the countryside.

We hope you enjoy this episode all about Unlocking the Severn!
