Are you spending time at the Severn this summer? The Severn is home to many wildlife species and its beauty and character is diverse. We’re showcasing this unique river, its landscape, flora and fauna with a community photography exhibition and we’d love to receive submissions from you.
The exhibition will take place at The Hive, Worcester, between Monday 5th August and Sunday 1st September. If your image is selected, you will be able to come and see your work on public display.
All kinds of photographs are welcome, including those taken on smartphones, but make sure you snap the river or its wildlife, rather than yourself or other people.
We’re looking for images that capture the character and sense of place of the River Severn, in both natural and urban settings (where the river can bring its wildness right into the city).
All photographs should be taken of or by the River Severn.
We need your submissions by Sunday 14th July at print resolution (300pdi).
By submitting your photographs you give permission for them to be used in the exhibition and if we select your image for display, we will credit you. We may also use photographs submitted to promote the exhibition and our call for ‘Severn Summer’ images.
We would love to be able to use the photographs further in Unlocking the Severn, so please consider giving us permission to use your images more widely.
All submissions must be your own work.
We look forward to seeing shots of your Severn summer!
