Worcester Festival – Let’s Paddle – Canoeing from Diglis Island on Monday 21st August

Learn to canoe with our friendly, qualified instructors . All equipment is provided, so all you need to do is book onto this 45-minute session and turn up on the day. The sessions are all beginner sessions and will help you to find your feet and gain confidence. We want to start you off properly so you can make this fun sport a habit!

Our canoes are very stable however, just in case you do get wet, please bring spare clothes and a towel. All equipment will be provided and there are toilets on site.

Our friendly instructor will be waiting to welcome you adjacent to the lock gates on Diglis Dock Road. Parking is available along Diglis Dock Road or in our parking compound, Post Code: WR5 3BS.

This event must be booked via the button below, which will take you to the Eventbrite website to select a date and time. The sessions are 45 minutes, and there are 4 timeslots per date for you to choose your preferred time.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the session begins. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from eight years old upwards who are interested in trying out a potential new hobby.

Children (under 18 years of age) must be accompanied by an adult on the water. Parents and Guardians (for those under 18) are required to book onto a session as well and accompany the minor on the water.

This event is £8 for adults. Children under 18 are free.

The paddling route is also a lovely walk, so you are welcome to bring spectators to cheer you on from the riverbank, but please be aware that they will not be able to accompany you onto Diglis Island.

If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite. You will be liable for the Eventbrite processing fee. If you cancel within 48-hours of the event, you will not be eligible for a refund.
