Diglis Island, Worcester
Sunday 17th November 2019 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
CANCELLED – Wildlife photography workshop for families at Diglis
Due to the rising river levels in Worcester, with much disappointment, for both practical and safety reasons, we must postpone this workshop for the second time, again due to flooding.
Professional wildlife photographer Iain Green leads a relaxed and inspiring morning where you’ll learn new skills and explore a secret island in the River Severn. This workshop at Diglis is free thanks to the Unlocking the Severn project and lasts from 10am to 1pm.
Booking is essential; please book one place per adult and child pair by registering here on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/family-wildlife-photography-workshop-tickets-79735967425. On the day we’ll meet on the ‘mainland’ by Diglis Island locks on Diglis Dock Road. All you need to bring is a camera or smartphone and dress for the weather including stout footwear. Hot drinks and biscuits will be available on the island. We’ll be enjoying the outdoors all morning and travelling into nearby Cherry Orchard Nature Reserve too.
If you have any questions please contact Lucy Newton, Unlocking the Severn’s Informal Learning & Interpretation Officer at [email protected] or on 07484 912842.
