Why do we need healthy rivers? – With BSL

Join us for the sixth talk in our Severn Series, a collection of online webinars exploring the life beneath the surface of the UK’s longest river.

In this virtual panel, we will be joined by Unlocking the Severn project partners to discuss river health. Our panellists will provide perspectives on a range of topics, including why we need healthy rivers and the different ways in which river health is impacted by human action. They will also share information about some of the vital conservation work being undertaken on and around the River Severn.

The panel:

Alice Fallon- Community Engagement Manager, Severn Rivers Trust

Laura Mulholland- Ecologist, Canal & River Trust

Sara James- Water Quality Specialist, Canal & River Trust

This free talk will be hosted on Zoom and will be interpreted by a British Sign Language interpreter.

Joining details will be sent out to registered participants in advance using the email address provided. The talk will be tailored to adults but is also suitable for older children, who should be supervised during the event.
