River bugs and poems

blue dragonfly on rock by the river

This poetry activity for families is led by poet and lecturer Dr Isabel Galleymore as part of the Places of Poetry project.

The river Severn is home to an array of fascinating river bugs, fish and birds which tell us about the health of the river. Come and find out what lives in our river at National Trust Attingham Park and take inspiration from these amazing creatures to write your own poem.

The poetry workshops are aimed at older teens and adults (15 years plus).  BOOK HERE.

These family activities are free for Attingham Park visitors, but normal entrance prices apply to visit National Trust Attingham Park: find out more information about visiting Attingham Park HERE.
