Join us for the second talk in our Severn Series, a collection of online webinars exploring the life beneath the surface of the UK’s longest river.
An introduction to the Fish of the River Severn. This talk will be suitable for people with little or no knowledge about the species that live below the surface, from the upper catchment, all the way down to the estuary 200 miles downstream.
Learn about the range of beautiful and interesting species that are key to the success of river ecosystems, including one of the world’s oldest vertebrates! We will be discussing the impact of non-native invasive fish and also cover migratory and endangered species.
This free talk will be hosted on Zoom and will be interpreted by a British Sign Language interpreter.
Joining details will be sent out to registered participants in advance using the email address provided. The talk will be tailored to adults but is also suitable for older children, who should be supervised during the event.
